Data source

All numbers on this website come from the voluntary, off-by-default telemetry of the Browser Firewall extension. Users can enable site statistics via a separate opt-in. Without opt-in, nothing leaves the browser.

Hard rules

• Only hostnames and block counts are transmitted — never URLs, paths or search terms.
• No IP addresses are logged server-side.
• The installId is a locally generated random UUID; deleting the extension key deletes all data (reinstalling creates a new ID).

Aggregation and updates

The statistics aggregate the site_stats events of the last 30 days and are rebuilt daily. The current date is shown on every statistics page.

Interpretation

These numbers are a snapshot of the extension's user base — not market research and not a representative sample. Absolute values depend on usage time, filter lists and browsing habits.
